California State University, Fresno will host a Small Business Global Access forum on Aug. 1 that will include an appearance by Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom.
The event is one of eight sessions sponsored this year by Export-Import Bank of the United States in locations throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The event is tailored to address the needs of businesses with 500 or fewer employees.

Following opening remarks by Newsom, Fred P. Hochberg, president and chairman of Export-Import Bank, will discuss “Global Access for Small Business.”
Panel discussions will provide information on how government agencies can help U.S. exporters and how Ex-Im Bank and other government agencies provide support to small-business owners to take advantage of international markets.
Participants will have the opportunity for one-on-one consultations with export development officials.
